Former marketing and product director at Enesco, Helen Cottrill has unveiled her new independent marketing and brand consultancy – The Cabin at No 1.
Helen (pictured) – who spent 30 years at Enesco before leaving earlier this year – has welcomed children’s gift clothing company, Blade & Rose as her first client, and will be supporting the team with its b2b and trade business development strategies.
“I’m over the moon to announce that Blade & Rose have taken the decision to work with me; I have long admired their brand and look forward to really getting to know them and their team,” Helen commented.
While working with big brand names across the gift and homeware sectors for the past 35 years has been the foundation of Helen’s career, she is also now looking to support smaller organisations closer to her home in Langholm and the surrounding areas of the Scottish Borders in place, destination and tourism campaigns, helping smaller businesses and charities, to grow through expert marketing and strategic direction.
Helen continued: “Giftware will always have a very special place in my heart – it’s what I’ve built my career on and is a genuine love of mine. So, as well as supporting clients in the home and giftware sector, I’m also planning on creating a hub of giftware reviews on my website and social media channels when they launch.
“I am happy to take on all projects, large or small, from marketing campaigns and solutions to trade fair planning and execution.”
