HEAD teams with M Style for influencer initiative

First licensing-based influencer programme will support licensees says company.

HEAD Sport has teamed up with New York-based strategy, marketing and branding company M Style Marketing, to launch the HEAD Licensing Influencer Programme.

The new initiative – which will initially targeted the US – has been created to support HEAD’s licensees, providing them with the resources and expertise to succeed on social media platforms.

M Style will work with HEAD’s HQ in Kennelbach, Austria and each licensee which has been enrolled in the programme to develop a customised influencer programme to leverage its followers and to drive brand impressions, product awareness and sales.

M Style will offer support in areas including influencer selection, seeding and tracking and will be able to support further with additional services like in-house creative, full marketing and design services (if needed).

“Nowadays, influencer programmes are one of the fastest growing tools for brands to conquer millennials and digital natives,” said Giuseppe Faranna, vp and division manager licensing at HEAD Sport GmbH. “M Style’s understanding and flexibility will help foremost our licensees to embark great programmes on social media and ideally drive brand awareness and lastly sales. We are excited to see what will happen in the near future.”

Rob Striar, president and ceo of M Style, added: “By capitalising on M Style’s global reach and expertise in social media to develop awareness, impressions and revenue, we will create one of the most supportive platforms for brand partners and licensees in the sports and consumer products industry.”
