HEAD makes the move into the fragrance space

The HEAD sports brand is making the move into the fragrance category following a new deal with Desire Fragrances.

The new agreement will see the launch of fragrances, body and bath, plus sun care.

The fragrances will offer unique bottle shapes and multi-faceted olfactory notes, with the goal of the new partnership being to develop the image of the sports brand in the category through marketing strategies and worldwide distribution channels by Desire Fragrances, particularly targeting Europe and the US.

“We are delighted to start this new adventure with Desire Fragrances – from the first talks up to the development of the first range, we felt that the Desire Fragrances team is passionate and super excited to create something innovative and to serve a target group which is looking for a sportive alternative in the fragrances world,” said Giuseppe Faranna, vp division manager licensing at HEAD Sport GmbH.

“You can be sure that we will see more exciting products in the near future with the same passion and spirit; we are looking forward to continue work with Desire Fragrances on those products.”

Antonio Lemma, ceo of Desire Fragrances, added: “Bringing the name of an iconic brand as HEAD also into the fragrances segment is a stimulating challenge for us and a great honour.

“Having already gained experience in the development and distribution of fragrances for sports brands, I’m sure that we will be able to make a significant contribution in the fragrances segment, by creating remarkable and unequalled products.”
