Hasbro wows crowds at first UK Showcase

Over 350 retailers and licensees welcomed to The Factory of Wonder to hear plans for 2016 and beyond.

The first ever Hasbro UK Showcase brought together some 350 retailers and licensees to experience the world of Hasbro.

Held last Thursday at The Old Truman Brewery on London’s Brick Lane, the Showcase was no ordinary corporate event – it took visitors on an emotional journey back to childhood as they were invited into the Factory of Wonder.

The team shared insights into their franchise plans, and unveiled more details about The My Little Pony Movie landing in Q4 2017.

They also presented the AllSpark content line-up for 2017 and beyond – including the much anticipated Transformers 5 in Q2 2017, 6 in 2018 and 7 in 2019, along with the Play-Doh movie in 2018.

The Head of Hasbro Studios from LA, as well as the Head of Franchise from Rhode Island attended the event, together with their security team to guard the never-seen-before content.

“The Showcase was our chance to show everyone just how passionate we are about our brands,” said Holly Oldham, UK director at Hasbro Consumer Products.

“Storytelling and fun are at the heart of everything we do at Hasbro, making it very important that our first Showcase experience embraced this ethos.

“My hope is that everyone who visited had as much fun as we did putting this event on.”
