Hasbro notches up Emmy Award nominations

Hasbro Studios programming gets four nods in Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Hasbro Studios is celebrating receiving four nominations at the upcoming Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

The company received the nods for its work across the Transformers and My Little Pony franchises.

Transformers Robots in Disguise (pictured) has been nominated in the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program category, while ‘The Magic Inside’ from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is up for Outstanding Original Song.

In addition, Transformers Rescue Bots has nominations in two categories  – Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program and Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program (for Jeff Bennet as Mayor Luskey).

The awards ceremony will be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, New York on Sunday May 1.
