Partnerships confirmed with Moschino, Modis, ColourPop as movie hits cinemas.
Hasbro has detailed a number of fashion and beauty collaborations for the My Little Pony brand, as the hotly tipped movie heads into cinemas.
Apparel is the category which is seeing the most diversity in growth for the brand, expanding into new market segments including infants, tweens, teens and adult collaborations.
Fashion house Moschino has launched a new My Little Pony capsule collection, with creative director Jeremy Scott taking inspiration from the brand and the original ponies from the 1980s, introducing several brand new ponies for the occasion.
The collection made its debut at Milan Fashion Week.
In addition, Russian fashion retailer Modis has launched a special ‘evil’ collection for older girls (pictured) inspired by Tempest, one of the villains from the movie.
The collection of tops, bottoms and skirts joins additional items featuring the Mane Six Ponies in 140 Russian stores. To celebrate the launch, Modis held a special event in Moscow, featuring a kids fashion show and special stylist session.
A My Little Pony capsule collection is also available at Gap stores across the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and online. The range includes My Little Pony shirts, leggings, dresses and a fleece for girls.
Other apparel collaborators for the brand include Original Marines in Italy, ASOS in the UK and Mr Gugu & Miss Go in Poland to name a few.
Meanwhile, in the beauty category, ColourPop has launched a cosmetics collection inspired by the brand. Products include an eyeshadow palette, brush set, powder highlighters, lipsticks and a limited edition make up bag.
