Greetings brand lines up alongside LEGO, Kellogg’s, Nike, Coca-Cola among others.
Hallmark UK has been named as one of 2016’s ‘Consumer Superbrands’.
The long running annual survey revealed this year’s top brands earlier this morning (Monday February 22).
The Superbrands ranking sees Hallmark UK line up alongside such high profile brands as LEGO, Apple, Kellogg’s, Nike, John Lewis and Coca-Cola among others.
Alison Kildunne, head of brand and marketing at Hallmark UK, said: “It’s a great honour to have been selected as a Superbrand, and recognises our hard work to reinvigorate the brand and ensure it continues to stand for distinctiveness and quality.
“Only the highest rated of nearly 1,600 brands achieve Superbrand status, so attaining it is no mean feat.”
Stephen Cheliotis, chief Executive of TCBA and chairman of the Consumer Superbrands Council, added: “Being recognised and voted a Superbrand not only illustrates the brand’s fame but, more importantly, shows it’s considered by consumers to be trustworthy, distinct and high quality.
“The affection and connection consumers have with these leading brands enables them to secure a clear advantage when engaging and communicating, which can be priceless.”
Over 2,500 British adults were questioned in order to compile the final Superbrands ranking, with nearly 1,600 brands assessed against criteria including quality, reliability and distinction.
There are two separate surveys – Consumer Superbrands (the UK’s strongest B2C brands) and Business Superbrands (the UK’s strongest B2B brands).
British Airways came out top in both surveys.
Google, Heinz, Virgin Atlantic, Marks & Spencer and Amazon were also among the top 20 Consumer Superbrands.
