Licensee worked with focus groups to discuss fragrance designs and product concepts.
Licensed toiletries specialist H&A has revealed a new children’s fragrance range.
This year saw the company commission research to investigate attitudes towards fragrance in the children’s market.
It confirmed that mum is the key influencer for children when interacting with fragrance, with the ‘act of spraying’ and copying mum being the main appeal for children and the reason for wanting to wear fragrance.
H&A then worked with focus groups of parents of young children to discuss fragrance designs and individual product concepts.
Using the results, the company developed fragrances specially designed for children, which are alcohol free and hypoallergenic.
Angela Hall, managing director at H&A, said: “Our new children’s fragrance range has received such a positive response from parents and we’re excited to launch ready for Christmas this year.”
In addition, the past few months has also seen H&A introduce three new fashion-led properties to its portfolio – Happy Jackson, Pusheen and Disney Adult Princess.
This is a planned area of growth for the licensee, with further new signings due to be announced soon.
