Guinness 232 Coffee returning after Rugby World Cup success

Beanstalk brokers deal with speciality coffee roasters, Tiki Tonga.

Following its success during the Rugby World Cup, speciality coffee roster Tiki Tonga has confirmed the comeback of Guinness 232 Coffee.

The company has become the official coffee roaster and partner of Guinness 232 Coffee, following a deal brokered by Beanstalk, Diageo’s global brand extension licensing agency.

Smooth and balanced in body, the coffee has a ‘malty sweetness and rich mouthfeel’, according to the company.

During the roasting of the coffee blend, special adjustments have been made to the coffee roast profile, briefly increasing the temperature to 232 degrees C, which is the exact same temperature at which the barley is roasted during the Guinness brewing process.

The temperature adjustment unlocks the smooth, creamy, dark malty flavours of Guinness in the coffee.

The blend is available in beans, ground and new capsule formats online.
