Groovy UK further bolsters team

Licensed giftware company welcomes Tony Lewis and Mike McGillion.

Licensed giftware company Groovy UK has welcomed a brace of new hires to its team.

First up, Tony Lewis (pictured left) has joined the company as sales director, joining from Character World where he held the same role.

“I’m delighted and excited to join such a fabulous team of talented people and be part of such a vibrant and unique business,” Tony commented. “I’m very much looking forward to working with Groovy customers and developing some strong relationships.”

Meanwhile, Mike McGillion (pictured right) joins the company as international development director. Mike also joins from Character World where he held the role of commercial director for the crafting division.

Mike commented: “I’m really excited to join such a fabulous team of talented people with a great selection of licences and products and be part of such a vibrant and unique business that is going to be experiencing major growth internationally.”

Monique Scott, md of Groovy UK, added: “This is such an exciting time for Groovy UK with Tony Lewis recently joining as sales director and making a huge impact on sales, to now have Mike in the team we have truly set the stage for success on both our national and global challenges.”
