Greggs and Primark reveal second fashion collection

Following the sell-out success of the first Greggs x Primark fashion collection earlier this year, the high street icons have teamed up again this summer and are returning with a much anticipated second collection.

The new 21-piece collection has been designed to get the nation festival-ready and features everything you need to look the part this summer.

The festival collection will feature new items including cycle shorts, bodysuits, basketball jerseys, varsity jackets and fresh new footwear. It also sees the return of popular items from the first collection including the iconic Greggs bucket hat and underpants. Those who want to take their look to the next level, can accessorise with bumbags and sliders.

The exclusive range – which is the latest in a long line of iconic collaborations for Primark – comes off the back of the recent Netflix Stranger Things collaboration which saw the exclusive Hellfire Club t-shirt sell out in days.

To celebrate the launch and give fans early access, Greggs and Primark will be launching the collection with a limited pre-sale of selected items and mini festival experience via the ‘Snackfest’ bus which will stop off at the following five locations:

  • Brighton: Jubilee Square, 27 July, 11am – 5pm
  • Manchester: Cathedral Gardens, 29 July, 11am – 5pm
  • Liverpool: Liverpool One Paradise Place, 31 July, 11am – 5pm
  • Glasgow: Argyle St, 2 August, 11am – 5pm
  • Newcastle: Northumberland St, 4 August 11am – 5pm

At the experience, fans will have the chance to purchase selected items from the new collection, days before it hits shelves and becomes available to the general public. To give as many people as possible a chance of getting their hands on the pre-sale items, there will be a limit of two per customer on every product in the new collection. They’ll also enjoy live music, competitions and special guest appearances.

“Following the success of our first sell-out collection, we’re thrilled to be back with a second festival-inspired Greggs collection that’s playful and fun and can’t be found anywhere else,” commented Sarah Jackson, director of licence at Primark. “We think our customers will love some of the new items we’ve introduced this time around, such as the bodysuits and bumbags and we’re looking forward to spotting them at festivals across the UK and beyond this summer.”

Hannah Squirrell, customer director at Greggs, added: “The reaction to our first official Greggs clothing collection was incredible and sold out even faster than we anticipated. We’re excited to team up with Primark once again to deliver more fun and unique pieces that Greggs fans will wear with pride across the summer and beyond.”
