GOSH appoints Aer Studios to lead Neverland website

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) has appointed Aer Studios to design and develop its Neverland website.

The creative technology studio has been brought on board to design a new website and develop the online presence of the charity’s new Neverland brand.

Launching in spring 2025, the new website will focus on bringing Neverland to life through digital creativity, motion and gamification to build audience engagement and increase commercial and licensing potential.

Peter Pan and Neverland hold a significant place in Great Ormond Street Hospital’s and GOSH Charity’s history. In 1929 author JM Barrie bequeathed the rights for his famous play to GOSH so that the income could benefit the seriously ill children who visit the hospital for life-saving treatment.

Now, GOSH Charity has embarked on a journey to expand its commercial opportunities through live events, merchandise and partnerships, helping to grow revenue streams and to connect with supporters. The new public-facing website will aim to deepen the connection between fans and the brand further, providing more opportunities for families to engage with the Neverland property.

“We’re really excited to work with Aer Studios in bringing our vision for the Neverland website to fruition,” commented Jenny Martin, senior partnerships development manager at GOSH. “It was important to us to find a partner who could combine creative thinking with solid tech credentials and the Aer team really showed that in spades. We were impressed with their combination of experience, passion and practicality and are looking forward to working together to bring the world of Neverland to a wider audience, all while raising vital funds for seriously ill children at GOSH.”

Tom Harber, md at Aer Studios, continued: “We’re delighted to have been chosen to work with the GOSH Charity team on this exciting project. We felt an instant connection with the client team, and working on the Neverland website is the true epitome of what we do – applying user centred creativity to bring technology to life. GOSH is world-renowned for its innovation and excellence, and we’re honoured to be able to play our part in building impact for this incredible organisation.”
