Golden Globes animation shortlist confirmed

Inside Out, Shaun the Sheep and The Peanuts Movie among nominees.

The first major awards show of the season – Golden Globes 2016 – has revealed its nominations, with several major licensed brands named in the animated feature film category.

Inside Out, Shaun the Sheep Movie and Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie are among the nominees.

They line up alongside The Good Dinosaur and Anomalisa.

Meanwhile, Inside Out has also made the shortlist in the Best Original Score category.

Elsewhere, shows with more adult lifestyle-led licensing programmes – including Game of Thrones and Empire – have been nominated for Best Television Series: Drama.

The Golden Globes will take place on Sunday January 10, 2016 at the Beverly Hilton, LA, and will be hosted by Ricky Gervais.
