Golden Bear signs up for World of Dinosaur Roar

Nurture Rights appoints master toy partner for new preschool property.

Nurture Rights has appointed Golden Bear as the new master toy licensee for The World of Dinosaur Roar brand, as well as the classic Dinosaur Roar property.

Golden Bear is now setting to work creating a line of plush and plastic toys, puzzles, games and bath accessories.

The initial launch will feature puzzles, card games and a range of soft toys featuring some of the stars of The World of Dinosaur Roar. It will launch in spring/summer 2018, while further wider roll outs are planned for late 2018 and early 2019 including a collectable dinosaur figurine range.

Inspired by the classic picture book, The World of Dinosaur Roar is a new concept that aims to teach preschoolers about dinosaurs. The series introduces readers to a different title character in each book and uses his or her personality to teach children about dinosaurs in an engaging and entertaining way. Every book in the series also includes simple dinosaur facts and a pronunciation guide.

The property has been produced in association with the Natural History Museum in London.

In addition, Golden Bear will also create products for the classic Dinosaur Roar brand.

Barry Hughes, md at Golden Bear Toys, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Nurture Rights and The Natural History Museum on the delightful Dinosaur Roar property.

“The combination of the wonderful prehistoric characters and modern innovative marketing plans and content promise to ensure that Dinosaur Roar will be around for many, many years to come.”

Nick Barrington, md of Nurture Rights, added: “Dinosaur Roar has proved itself to be a brand that has a loyal following due to its heritage and resonance with its target audience.

“The World of Dinosaur Roar builds on this integrity and offers a fresh approach to dinosaurs for the very young. Golden Bear is the perfect partner to capture the true essence of these complementary brands and create an exciting product range.”
