BBC Worldwide appoints company as master toy partner for brand.
BBC Worldwide has secured Golden Bear as its new master toy partner for CBeebies’ show Justin’s House.
The show – which debuted on the channel in 2011 – stars Justin Fletcher, alongside Robert the Robot and Little Monster. It is filmed in front of a live audience and is described as ‘can’t sit still telly’.
The deal follows on from Golden Bear’s success with its toy range for Something Special.
Julie Kekwick, senior licensing manager at BBC Worldwide, said: “We’re so pleased to be working with Golden Bear; they are renowned for being able to capture the true essence of properties that delight and excite younger audiences.
“Justin’s House is a unique show which lends itself perfectly to the careful merchandising that Golden Bear can offer and we are delighted with the initial product they have created.”
Katherine Pierce, senior licensing and marketing manager at Golden Bear, added: “Justin’s House has immense popularity and it continues to be a huge success on CBeebies, so we’re thrilled to be adding the licence to our toy portfolio.
“It was a natural next step for us to add Justin’s House to complement our highly popular, award-winning Something Special range. It extends the huge appeal that Justin Fletcher has across this TV programmes and we are delighted to be supporting this with new toy product.”
