Global Licensing NZ adds Love Is… to portfolio

Company appointed as licensing agent for classic art brand in Australia and New Zealand.

Global Licensing NZ has been appointed as the licensing agent in Australia and New Zealand for the classic art brand, Love Is…

The deal was secured with Minikim Holland, the worldwide licensor, in conjunction with J&M Brands.

Global will initially be focusing on opportunities in apparel, accessories, homewares, health and beauty, giftware, social expression and gift food.

“We believe now is the perfect time to reintroduce this classic art brand, given the uncertain and challenging world we are in at present,” commented director of Global, Mark Paul. “We could certainly do with a bit more love right now. There are over 9,000 designs (classic and modern), text can be altered, colours changed and new artwork created for specific products, events or retailers. There is wide scope to create something unique and appealing.”

Love Is… was born in the late 1960s by New Zealand born, Kim Casali, who created sentimental notes with a small drawing for her future husband, Roberto. They first appeared in the Los Angeles Times on January 5, 1970.
