Safety technology brand looking to move into new product categories through licensing.

Global Icons Europe has secured a worldwide representation deal with Sparco S.p.A, designer and manufacturer of Italian automotive parts and motorsport safety equipment.

Extensions into the licensing space will feature the brand attributes of heritage, adrenaline, performance, safety and innovation, further increasing the brand value and loyalty for racing professionals and car enthusiasts.

The agency will focus on traditional and non-traditional categories, exposing Italian know-how to new consumers worldwide.

“Global Icons are proud to be partnering with Sparco on this journey to building a successful lifestyle programme,” said David Williams, md of Global Icons Europe. “Our extensive experience in the auto category will enable us to bring industry leaders to the table and to select the best possible licensees to build the Sparco brand equity.”

Claudio Pastoris, ceo at Sparco S.p.A, added: “This partnership – we are very proud about – due to Global Icons great experience in the auto category and due to Sparco’s always innovative and high technology products. [It] will drive Sparco into new product categories and will increase Sparco brand value itself.”
