Gigantosaurus: The Game brings franchise to life

Cyber Group Studios teams with Outright Games and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe on project.

Animation entertainment company, Cyber Group Studios has teamed with Outright Games and Bandai Namco Entertainment to launch the Gigantosaurus brand into the video games space.

Gigantosaurus: The Game is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam, further expanding the property into new categories.

The title – which has been developed by Wildsphere Studios – allows players to explore and race across the vast prehistoric world of Gigantosaurus, playing as characters from the show including Rocky, Tiny, Mazu and Bill.

The TV series – which is based on Jonny Duddle’s bestselling book – is currently airing its first season on Disney Junior worldwide. Season two and three have been commissioned by The Walt Disney Company, France Télévisions and Super RTL. The first season will also air on Netflix and on major international networks throughout 2020.

“We have had high aspirations for this title from the beginning and wanted to ensure we captured the magic of our premier animated show,” commented Thierry Braille, vp interactive and video game division and Dominique Bourse, coo of Cyber Group Studios. “Working with Outright Games has allowed us to create something truly special that the whole family can enjoy together at home.

“With the launch of our first ever video game, we now have the opportunity for a brand new audience to experience the world of Gigantosaurus for the first time ever.”
