George at Asda hits high note with The X Factor apparel

New girls’ range arrives in top 33 stores as well as online.

Fremantle has teamed up with Smith & Brooks for the launch of a new The X Factor apparel line in George at Asda.

The new collection – which has launched in the top 33 Asda George stores and online – is aimed at 5 to 14 year olds. It comprises of six pieces, including slogan tees and sweatshirts, joggers and leggings.

It is supported in-store with POS, as well as having a heavy presence on social media.

“We are very pleased to be partnering with Smith & Brooks and George on this amazing line of girls’ clothes,” Jenny Martin, senior licensing manager at Fremantle, told The Source.

Lynne Tooms, senior buying director for George, added: “We’re really excited to be launching our new George X Factor range. The X Factor is one of the most popular shows on TV and we’re really pleased to be offering our customers, and fans of the show, the chance to buy the perfect gift this Christmas.”

Artists discovered by The X Factor UK have sold more than 500 million records worldwide making it the most successful show in history for finding chart superstars.

Last weekend saw Dalton Harris crowned as the winner of The X Factor UK 2018.
