Licensee to launch range of cards, gift packaging and partyware for hit property.
Gemma International has become the latest licensee to sign up for Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
The company has struck a deal with Bulldog Licensing to create a range of cards, gift packaging and partyware for the brand.
“We first discovered Miraculous Ladybug in Las Vegas a few years ago and we have been keeping a close eye on her ever since,” said Tim Rudd-Clarke, licensing director at Gemma.
“The brand has been growing at a great rate of knots, and gaining traction across multiple platforms, and it’s no wonder as she fills a huge gap in the market that has been vacant for quite some time; for a strong and empowered female superhero, and unlike the majority of other girls properties out there, she isn’t pink.”
Andrea Green, vp of global consumer products at Zag America, added: “All of us at Zag America, who run the consumer products programme for Miraculous, could not be happier to have Gemma on board as one of our premiere licensees.
“They embody the type of company who we love to work with – both committed and extremely creative.”
