Game of Thrones locations pop up around UK

Four fictional locations appear in London, Blackpool, Essex and Scotland.

Four fictional locations have been revealed around the UK by HBO to mark the digital download release of the final series of Game of Thrones.

The destinations all have signs with their new names, with members of the public being encouraged to find them, reported Campaign.

London’s Covent Garden has been newly named Highgarden, with a gardenscape installation – featuring colours inspired by Highgarden and House Tyrell – situated in front of the main piazza for three weeks.

In addition, Blackpool has become Castle Black-pool, Essex has been renamed Essos and Doune Castle in Scotland has become Winterfell, having featured as the location for Winterfell in the pilot episode.
