Further partners sign for L&M Showcase

Laura Ashley, Spin Master, Aykroyds among latest names to back May 5 event.

Next month’s Licensing & Merchandising Showcase is continuing to take shape, with more licensee and retail partners signing up.

Spin Master, Laura Ashley, Aykroyds, Character World and Penguin Random House are all confirmed for the new event, which takes place on May 5 at Chelsea FC.

Richard Milbourn, one of the organisers of the event, said: “The spread of attendees continues to grow for this inaugural event, from all areas within the three sides of the ‘Licensing Triangle’.

“These five most recent additions to the delegate count indicate, we believe, a desire from the industry for this format of intimate networking and evaluating business opportunities.”

The organisers have identified the need for an event in spring when retailers and licensees can identify the commercial opportunities in plenty of time to meet schedules for the next year’s autumn/winter season.

Showcase presentations will run throughout the day, combined with networking opportunities and a drinks reception in the evening.

Packages for licensors and agents are still available. For further details email Richard on richard.milbourn@carnah.co.uk.

Tickets for retailers, licensees and manufacturers are £192.50 (plus VAT) from www.lmshowcase.com.
