Further licensing growth for HEAD brand

United Brands 24 to launch leather goods after inking multi-year agreement.

HEAD Sport is continuing to build up the licensing programme around the brand, with United Brands 24 being the latest licensee to join the portfolio.

The company has secured a multi-year deal which will see it use the HEAD brand on small leather goods, leather mobile cases, travel accessories, bags and luggage.

The deal covers the EU and neighbouring countries, as well as the US and Canada.

Giuseppe Faranna, vp division manager licensing at HEAD Sport GmbH, commented: “United Brands 24 is well known for their distribution network and for the great products they have done in the past and recently.

“However, when I saw the first developments of our HEAD Collections, the design and the innovation out-side and inside let me feel very excited about the future and I can’t wait to see them hitting retail.”

Sascha A. Klumpp, chief brand officer for United Brands 24, added: “HEAD is a meaningful and important addition to United Brands 24 brand portfolio as we continue our global expansion efforts.”

The HEAD collection is due to launch in Q4 2017.
