There were plenty of other winners outside of the main trophies at The Licensing Awards on Tuesday night (10 September) – with a bumper raffle raising over £10,000 for The Light Fund, and seeing a stunned Sebastian Schyberg from home fragrance specialist, Sebnini, win a mega holiday voucher.
Seb (pictured left with Max Publishing’s group editor, Samantha Loveday) is sales manager at Sebnini and was attending the awards with Lisle Licensing, having worked with the agency to create home fragrances with the Style Sisters.
Kindly donated by Keith Chapman, the £6,000 Trailfinders travel voucher means that Seb can now book his dream holiday, anywhere in the world.
Meanwhile, the winner of the special Care Bears competition (hosted by Cloudco Entertainment) was Nick Meaney (main image), merchandise planning manager at Tesco. Nick was the lucky recipient of a £500 spa care package after finding Good Luck Bear.
Damian Treece, senior licensing manager at Bravado, was the proud winner of a limited edition Hello Kitty sculpture (pictured right), kindly donated by Sanrio.
Award winning graffiti artist Jo Di Bona and the Leblon Delienne studio combined their talents to create eight one-off statues of Hello Kitty, one of which was presented to Damian by Silvia Figni, coo EMEA, India and Oceania, Mr Men Worldwide, Sanrio Company and Hello Kitty herself.
Finally, Apple’s Aaron Bremner successfully navigated the tricky Higher or Lower questions – sponsored by The Insights Family – to walk away from the evening with a £250 Virgin Experiences voucher.
