The first items from Siobhan Murphy will arrive in the autumn, followed by a full range in SS22.
Digital department store, Freemans is continuing to build up its roster of brand collaborations, signing Interior Design Masters finalist, Siobhan Murphy, to create an exclusive range of homewares.
Siobhan will initially create a bespoke soft home accessories collection for launch this autumn, with items mainly sourced from the the UK. This will be followed by a full homewares collection in SS22, reported The Industry.Fashion.
“Not only are we proudly supporting emerging talent by commissioning Siobhan’s very first retail collaboration, we feel her confident use of colour and print coupled with a down-to-earth approach resonates with what we’re all about and what our customers tell us they are looking for,” commented Richard Cristofoli, chief customer officer at Freemans.
Siobhan added: “My dream has always been to design my own collection and I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Freemans designing a homeware collection.”
Freemans relaunched in October 2020 with a new look and offering. Brand collaborations are a part of the business it is looking to build, with designer Julien Macdonald recently launching an exclusive fashion and homewares collection with the retailer.
