Foyles teams with Aardman to celebrate 40th

Book retailer has also teamed with Simon & Schuster for special birthday competition.

Book retailer Foyles has joined forces with Aardman Animations and Simon & Schuster for a special competition to mark the studio’s 40th anniversary.

The retailer is giving away a special prize for its loyalty members – a sketch of Morph by his creator, Peter Lord, as well as a signed copy of The Art of Aardman and an exclusive anniversary tote bag.

Two runners up will also receive a signed copy of the book and a tote bag.

The Art of Aardman is the studio’s first combined collection of sketches and artwork from creators and directors Nick Park, Peter Lord and Richard Starzak.

Readers are taken on a journey through the Aardman archives, with sculptures, concept art and drawings from key animations all included.
