Formula 1 Exhibition lands in Amsterdam as next host city

The award-winning Formula 1 Exhibition will land in Amsterdam on 17 April 2025, with the Dutch capital confirmed as the next major city to host the groundbreaking show.

When doors open at Amsterdam’s De Kromhouthal, fans will experience a celebration of Dutch motorsport history, as the show pays homage to the country’s strong racing tradition, with dedicated exhibits that spotlight the Netherland’s contribution to Formula 1’s history.

Since the sport’s inaugural season in 1950, 17 drivers have proudly represented the Dutch flag including four-time World Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen.

The show will be packed with contributions from F1 teams, personalities and drivers both past and present, and feature interactive installations, state-of-the-art racing simulators and exclusive content to give fans an immersive insight into the world of Formula 1.

Amsterdam follows Buenos Aires to become the sixth city overall to host F1 Exhibition after a hugely successful run in London, where it won the Best Visitor Experience title at The Access All Areas Awards.

“We are delighted to bring F1 Exhibition to the Netherlands, a country that has been at the centre of Formula 1 in recent years and has a long a proud history in our sport,” commented Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer at Formula 1. “I cannot wait for visitors and fans from around the world to delve deeper into F1 and learn more about the Netherland’s fantastic contribution to our sport.”

Jonathan Linden, co-ceo of Round Room Live and producer of The Formula 1 Exhibition, added: “We are delighted to announce Amsterdam as the host city for the next stop of The Formula 1 Exhibition’s European tour. Alongside the core experience, each show gives some special recognition to the national heritage of its host location. In Amsterdam we’re excited to be able to celebrate The Netherlands’ rich Formula 1 heritage, including the storied Zandvoort racetrack and an impressive legacy of F1 drivers, including of course, Max Verstappen.”
