Focus Brands adds brace of new names to portfolio

UK-based sports distribution company Focus Brands has acquired the licence for American military apparel brand, Avirex, and French sportswear brand, Patrick.

The five-year deal for both brands means that Focus will manage design, distribution, sales and promotion across UK & Ireland for Patrick and the whole of Europe for Avirex.

The company already holds the licence for a number of other global brands including sports apparel brand Ellesse, US lifestyle brands Nautica and Nautica Competition, plus British unisex footwear brand, Yogi.

“We are thrilled to add these two iconic brands to our roster,” commented Mike Tolman, director at Focus Brands. “Both Avirex and Patrick are leaders in their fields when it comes to apparel and footwear respectively and undoubtedly complement our existing brand offering.”
