First partners unveiled for The Crystal Maze

Bulldog Licensing signs Rascals and Poetic Brands for Channel 4 show.

The first two licensees are on board for The Crystal Maze, with Bulldog Licensing beginning to ramp up efforts around the hit Channel 4 show.

The new deals will see Rascals produce board games, card games, puzzle games and travel games based on the show’s format.

Poetic Brands is also on board for adult t-shirts, nightwear and underwear.

“There are few gameshows that match The Crystal Maze for iconic appeal and the new version is creating a whole new generation of fans, so the brand offers huge potential for licensing,” said Rob Corney, md of Bulldog Licensing.

“We’ve already got two great partners on board and expect to be making more announcements very soon.”

The Crystal Maze originally aired on Channel 4 from 1990 to 1995. It returned in 2016 with a Stand Up To Cancer celebrity special, with a full new series – hosted by Richard Ayoade – airing in the summer on the channel.
