First partners on board for Pikmi Pops

Bulldog Licensing confirms Aykroyds, TDP and Blues Clothing are all on board.

Bulldog Licensing has revealed the first licensing partners for collectable brand, Pikmi Pops.

Aykroyds and TDP Textiles have signed up for nightwear and swimwear, while Blues Clothing will create a leisurewear range.

Created by Moose Toys, Pikmi Pops is a range of sweet-scented miniature plushies that come with surprises, packaged inside a lollipop vessel.

Each Pikmi Pop has a host of treats inside including one of 45 scented mini plushies, dangler strings, accessories and messages among other items.

Having sparked a playground craze, after just a few weeks at retail, Pikmi Pops became the number one new brand in the UK – a position which it has cemented every month since March.

“Pikmi Pops only debuted a short while ago but is already making major waves in the UK licensing market,” commented Vicky Hill, licensing director at Bulldog Licensing. “These initial deals are just the start. The brand has all the hallmarks of a huge success story and more announcements will follow very soon.”
