Helsinki event backed by 20 Nordic brands including Rovio and Moomin Characters.
The first brand licensing event in the Nordics – the Nordic Brand Licensing Market 2016 – is due to take place later this month.
The event is being organised by AGMA Agents and Managers in Creative Industries of Finland, and will run on November 28 and 29 in Helsinki.
It has the backing of 20 Nordic creative brands, with the main partners being Rovio, Moomin Characters and Finlayson.
The aim of the event is to find new markets and business models globally for Nordic brands.
Alex Lambeek, chief commercial officer at Rovio, commented: “As a global entertainment company, Rovio draws strength from its roots in Finland, a wellspring of creativity, know-how and entrepreneurial energy.
“We are very happy to cooperate with AGMA in inviting licensees, agents and others in the licensing world to see what Finland and the Nordic region have to offer.”
Moomin Characters’ Sophia Jansson added: “We are happy to take part in an event that brings Nordic creative talents into focus.”
