First lines featuring Celessence technology launch

Slumberdown brand unveils fragranced pillows after deal with Art + Science International.

The John Cotton Group has launched the first products featuring Celessence technology, following a deal with Art + Science International.

Under the Slumberdown brand, fragranced pillows have launched. The pillows, infused with either ‘Berry Bliss’ or ‘Tropical Twist’ are infused with subtle scents to positively boost moods.

In addition, Eucalyptus scented pillows and Lavender and Vanilla pillows are being rolled out in Aldi stores across the country.

Two further scented pillows launched as part of the kids’ bedroom range for the Aldi Specialbuys, with watermelon and berry fragrances.

John Cotton holds the licence for Celessence technology – brokered by Art + Science International – which will see it develop further scented ranges across additional product categories.

“We’re extremely proud that John Cotton has an exclusive licence for Celessence technology within the UK, and that we are able to lead the way within the category with our range of scented pillows,” said Anjna Mistry, senior marketing manager at John Cotton. “This is a really exciting product for consumers, and we’re looking forward to exploring how we can continue to innovate with the Celessence technology to further improve and enhance drifting off to sleep for each one of our customers.”

Shibani Mohindra, joint ceo at Celessence Technologies, added: “We are thrilled to have John Cotton as our licensee developing these scented ranges to brighten up the pillow category.

“We are looking forward to some very innovative future product releases which will delight the consumer.”
