Edutainment Licensing signs Tap Tap Tales for creative preschool brand.
The licensing programme for early learning art brand Arty Mouse is off the mark, with Edutainment Licensing signing Tap Tap Tales to create educational apps for the Top That Publishing property.
The brand was launched a Frankfurt Book Fair in 2015 with a range of early learning through art activity kits and books for preschoolers.
It has gone on to garner support from 65 major UK retailers and has overseas sales to 45 countries. It also picked up the Progressive Preschool Award for best publishing range last year.
Barcelona-based Tap Tap Tales will create a range of apps including Silhouettes and Puzzles, Colouring, Tracing, Shapes, Words, Numbers and Positioning. Each will contain 25 exercises and will be available in seven different languages.
Dan Graham, editorial director of Top That Publishing, said: “Tap Tap Tales apps are super fun for children and are underpinned by sound educational research based on cognitive psychology principles.
“They are a perfect platform for the unique brand of Arty Mouse creativity and visual learning and will help children to express themselves and what they see in the world around them.”
