Fireman Sam’s first ever movie was given its UK premiere at the weekend.

The movie – which special guest stars John Barrowman as new character, Flex Dexter – is due to air exclusively on Cartoonito on Monday October 22 at 8am.

Party activities including a dress-up section and a GIF booth where children were morphed into the film, a balloon artists and a Fireman Sam activity station were on hand to keep youngsters entertained before the film started.

Goody bags were also available to take away and every child was given their own Fireman Sam helmet and a personalised Hollywood Walk of Fame star to take home.

A Mattel spokesperson said: “We are delighted with how the Fireman Sam: Set For Action premiere event went. You could feel there was a real buzz of excitement with everyone getting stuck into the activities that were laid on pre-screening. Then this was coupled with the amazing feedback from everyone who then watched the movie.”
