Finding Dory back at the top of UK box office

Disney-Pixar movie is now its seventh biggest outing in the UK.

Finding Dory is continuing to swim to success at the box office – which is further good news for its licensing programme.

The movie moved back to the number one spot at the UK box office in its fourth week, according to data from Screen Daily.

Finding Dory is now up to $42.3 million (£32.3m) after adding more than $2.6m (£2m) during its third Monday to Thursday session.

It is now tying with The Incredibles as the seventh biggest outing for Pixar in the UK.

Elsewhere at the box office, Suicide Squad was at number two and has now taken $36.2 million (£27.67m).

eOne’s The BFG is also looking to make the most of the remainder of the school holidays – after its fifth weekend, the film is now at $33.7 million (£25.76m).
