Following the successful launch of the Hey Duggee cake mix range by Fiddes Paynes’ Cake Angels brand, BBC Studios and Cake Angels are collaborating again to bring a bake-at-home Bluey cupcake mix kit to market.
Called ‘Bluey Ooh Fancy Cupcake Kit’, this is the first official Bluey cake mix kit to be launched in the UK and Ireland.
Product is set to hit the shelves in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Waitrose in January 2024, with roll out in Aldi and Lidl expected to follow in spring 2024.
“We are thrilled to be working in collaboration with Cake Angels again,” commented Louise Rigby, licensing manager at BBC Studios. “We are on such a brilliant journey with Bluey and we are beyond excited to see this new product launch in stores in the New Year.”
Jane Arther, marketing manager at Fiddes Payne, added: “We are delighted to be bringing the first official Bluey cup cake mix to market and we have a comprehensive marketing plan in place to support the launch across both Bluey and Cakes Angels’ wonderful marketing channels. Consumers can expect to see competitions, fun collaborations and more, over January and into spring.”
