Fashion UK takes first step in European expansion

New German office sees ambitious licensee extend business further into Europe.

Ambitious licensee Fashion UK has expanded its European footprint, opening a new office in Germany.

The aim is to increase the level of service and speed to the company’s customers, with the new office being headed up by md Frank Sandloebes.

Frank was previously global sourcing manager and product manager for boys’ tops at C&A and brings a wealth of experience to the role.

“Fashion UK is going from strength to strength, I have every faith in Frank and his wealth of knowledge and experience to lead Fashion UK Germany into the European spotlight,” said Gurdev Mattu, md of Fashion UK.

“This is only the first step in a wider plan for Fashion UK and I am excited to see how we will grow over the next 12 months and beyond.”

Patrick Bailey, coo at Fashion UK, added: “The opening of Fashion UK GmbH, is very exciting for the whole company, as it will allow Fashion UK to have a close local connection with both retail and licensors in the GAS region.”

Frank continued: “We now offer a showroom here in Germany making it much more accessible to our European customers. The growth of Fashion UK is very exciting and I am proud to be leading that growth in here in Dusseldorf.”
