Fantastic Beasts 2 trailer sets social media alight

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits cinemas in November.

The first official trailer for the eagerly awaited Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has been released – much to the delight of fans on social media.

The two-minute clip shows Eddie Redmayne return as Newt, Johnny Depp as Grindelwald and Jude Law make his debut as the future headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore.

The first movie – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – took over $800 million worldwide, so it’s no surprise that the expectation and excitement around the release of the trailer is so high.

Details of the consumer products programme are likely to be unveiled later this year.
