Fanattik signs major expansion for Yu-Gi-Oh!

Pop culture specialist will now cover all of Europe, US, New Zealand and Australia, as well as increasing product range.

UK-based pop culture specialist, Fanattik has secured a major expansion to its licence with Japanese trading card brand, Yu-Gi-Oh!

The company has been working with Konami on the brand for some time, supplying the UK and selected European markets.

The expansion sees the agreement extended to December 31, 2021, with territories now covering the whole of Europe, North America, New Zealand and Australia.

In addition, the product range will increase to cover additional gift and collectables such as money boxes and clocks among other items.

“The brand has heritage, with more than 20 years of content,” commented Anthony Marks, md of Fanattik. “We knew it had a passionate fan base, hungry for product and as soon as we saw the positive feedback coming in from retailers to our initial range, we opened negotiations to expand our reach.”
