Fanattik grows merchandise deal with Yu-Gi-Oh!

Pop culture brand, Fanattik has further strengthened its licensing deal with Konami Cross Media, which manages the rights for the Yu-Gi-Oh anime series.

The company has extended its licence for another three years, through to the end of 2027, while it also now includes more product categories, covering homeware, gifts and collectables.

Territories include North America, Australasia and Europe.

Retailers can see range on the Fanattik stand at Spring Fair in the UK (Hall 4 4G-63), as well as at Nuremberg Toy Fair (Hall 5 A79).

“You do business with people not companies and it’s hard to find a more dedicated bunch of people who have genuine passion for the brand they are part of then the Konami team,” commented Anthony Marks, md at Fanattik. “Whether we are in their UK, NYC or Los Angeles offices, they all have an energy that we try and match.”

Jennifer Coleman, vice president, licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media NY, continued: “It has been an amazing five years of working with Anthony and the Fanattik team. We love their enthusiasm and the care they put into each Yu-Gi-Oh! piece they create and we look forward to more years of collaboration.”
