A number of names familiar with the licensing industry made an appearance in the Sunday Times International Track 200 supplement at the weekend.
The league table ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest growing overseas sales.
A mix of companies from across the licensing spectrum made it into the listing.
Licensed gifting specialist Paladone was at number 120, while Thumbs Up was listed at number 23 with the report saying it has an impressive two year average international sales growth per annum of 105.98%.
John Adams – which has recently enjoyed success with its licensed Strictly Come Dancing board game – was at number 164, while the Pentland Group – which manages clothing and sports brands including Speedo, Mitre and Berghaus – was at number 192.
Meanwhile, on the retail side of things, The Hut Group was at number 63, while JoJo Maman Bébé was listed at number 135. Childrensalon – which has enjoyed collaborations with Nickelodeon among others – was at number 182.
