The new look Ben 10 is to make his global debut this autumn on Cartoon Network. Europe, Middle East and Africa, plus Asia-Pacific will be first, with the roll out continuing into 2017 with the US and Latin America.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has confirmed two partnerships. Love and Madness will release a series of jewellery lines inspired by DC Comics Super Heroes, Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Supergirl. In addition, WBCP is also expanding its partnership with American Greetings – from January 2017, greeting cards, stickers, party goods and seasonal giftware will feature characters from DC Super Hero Girls, Justice League, Wonder Woman and Scooby-Doo.

Sony Pictures Animation has confirmed its slate for 2017 and 2018. The Smurfs: The Lost Village has been dated for April 7 2017, followed by Emojimovie: Express Yourself in August 2017. An animated Spider-Man feature is slated for December 21 2018. Meanwhile, animated series Ghostbusters: Ecto Force (early 2018), Hotel Transylvania: The Television Series (2017) and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2017) have also been dated.

Topps is to produce a line of trading cards and digital collectables for Trolls from DreamWorks Animation. The new lines will launch in October to coincide with the movie hitting cinemas.

Saban Brands has confirmed Funrise as the global master toy partner for animated preschool property, Cirque du Soleil Junior – Luna Petunia.

Meanwhile, Saban Brands also announced a raft of new licensing partners for its Power Rangers franchise. New products will begin to launch from autumn 2016, with continuous new releases into spring 2017 across the world. New partners on board include Bioworld Merchandising, Funko, H Grossman, Mattel, Somerbond, Simba Toys, Trademark Collections, Trends International, Whitehouse Leisure International and William Lamb Group to name just a few.

Rainbow is teaming with Nickelodeon to launch new animated series, Regal Academy in the US on August 13.

20th Century Fox Consumer Products and HerChain Clothing Company are teaming to open up additional retail locations. New The Simpsons stores are due to open in Shanghai and a second location in Beijing.

Sesame Street is to collaborate with YouTube stars for its Love to Learn campaign. Sesame Street consistently ranks in the top ten education channels on YouTube, with one billion views in 2015.

FremantleMedia Kids & Family has signed several new US licensees for Kate & Mim-Mim. New partners include The Bentex Group and its divisions Dreamwave, Extreme Concepts and H.I.S International. Also added is Global Brands Group’s AME, plus Cardinal Industries, Jay Franco and JCP Live Productions.

DreamWorks Animation’s Noddy Toyland Detective will premiere on Sprout in the US in the autumn.
