Warner Bros. Consumer Products has confirmed two partnerships. Love and Madness will release a series of jewellery lines inspired by DC Comics Super Heroes, Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Supergirl. In addition, WBCP is also expanding its partnership with American Greetings – from January 2017, greeting cards, stickers, party goods and seasonal giftware will feature characters from DC Super Hero Girls, Justice League, Wonder Woman and Scooby-Doo.
Sony Pictures Animation has confirmed its slate for 2017 and 2018. The Smurfs: The Lost Village has been dated for April 7 2017, followed by Emojimovie: Express Yourself in August 2017. An animated Spider-Man feature is slated for December 21 2018. Meanwhile, animated series Ghostbusters: Ecto Force (early 2018), Hotel Transylvania: The Television Series (2017) and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2017) have also been dated.
Topps is to produce a line of trading cards and digital collectables for Trolls from DreamWorks Animation. The new lines will launch in October to coincide with the movie hitting cinemas.
