Company operates the omni-channel retailing for SailGP globally, with fan shop already open in Bermuda.
Event Merchandising is working with SailGP on its omni-channel retailing, opening up a new fan shop on Front Street in Bermuda.
The store features three of Bermuda’s talented artists and designer brands – Alshante Foggo, Factor Bermuda and TABS – as part of its selection of local brands and accessories.
Indeed, Event Merchandising and SailGP worked with a number of local manufacturers to create the ‘perfect alignment’ of climate-positive brands, tying in with the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix in April.
This fits in with SailGP’s ethos of going beyond entertainment to use its global platform to create a future whereby clean energy and more inclusivity is the norm.
As well as the outlet in Front Street, Event Merchandising also created a dedicated click and collect store in Bermuda which can be found at ShopSailGP.com.
The online store has an international reach with dedicated distribution centres in the US, Europe and Bermuda.
“The Bermuda Sail Grand Prix presented by Hamilton Princess would not be complete without its official fan shop,” commented Jeremy Goldsmith, md of Event Merchandising. “A racing championship that is bold and daring with its supercharged F50 foiling catamarans called for a collaboration with local artist, Alshante Foggo.
“With abstract designs that are striking, colourful, and distinctly Bermudian – her bright acrylic portraits, landscapes and murals offered the vibrancy SailGP was aiming to capture for its Fan Shop.”
The Bermuda Sail Grand Prix was won by Ben Ainslie’s Great Britain SailGP Team. The first ever Italy Sail Grand Prix is due to take place in June, with the championship then heading to Plymouth on 17-18 July.
