Licensee launches special anniversary figurine to mark the milestone.
Enesco is celebrating 30 years working with the Beatrix Potter brand.
The licensee has launched a special 30th anniversary figurine to mark the milestone – Peter Rabbit in Garden was one of Enesco’s very first pieces and it has been given a modern makeover.
The figurine (pictured) features Peter Rabbit in his most iconic pose, gathering onions in his spotty handkerchief.
“The early pieces in the collection were issued in beautiful gift tins, so it seemed fitting that this commemorative piece should be packaged in a tin, too,” Helen Shield, director of marketing at Enesco explained to Progressive Gifts & Home.
“The tin has been given a vibrant new look, using styles and artwork, giving it a fresh look for 2017.”
As well as the new figurine, Enesco also held a special Beatrix Potter-themed tea party at its Carlisle showroom. It was attended by 20 guests who enjoyed a presentation from Thomas Merrington, brand manager of Peter Rabbit at Penguin Ventures, and licensing executive Jennifer Greenway.
