emoji takes flight at Bristol Balloon Fiesta

Bravado and emoji company kick off summer of activity with event this weekend.

The emoji company and Bravado have secured a range of promotional activity this summer – kicking off with a special balloon at this weekend’s Bristol Balloon Fiesta.

The bright yellow giant inflatable with characteristic emoji brand expressions will be taking to the skies between August 9-11.

There will be additional entertainment and activities while at the Fiesta to further brand engagement and amplify the sense of fun associated with the emoji brand.

This is being promoted across the event’s social media channels, as a focus for families. Running from 1-5pm, the activities include games, costume character meet-and-greets and giveaways.

In addition, emoji brand activities will also be taking place in Manchester on Saturday August 10. Based in Piccadilly Gardens, in the centre of the city, activities include event performers, family friendly games, costume character meet-and-greets and opportunities to win prizes through an emoji wheel of fortune and lucky dip.

“The emoji brand is a thriving brand of our time and a true cultural phenomenon of our time,” said Alex Mitchell, senior licensing and partnership manager at Bravado. “These fun and exciting events are part of our comprehensive strategy to further expand the emoji brand in the UK, where we already have more than 25 partners in merchandise.

“With the help of the magnificent emoji balloon, we are set to fly even higher this summer.”

Marco Hüsges, ceo and founder of the emoji company, added: “We are delighted to launch the emoji balloon event in the UK. This promotion is part of a global marketing and communications campaign for our globally awarded and recognized emoji brand.”

All activities across the weekend will be managed by the Ministry of Fun.
