Egmont unveils special Nella the Princess Knight title

New edition will be published under Egmont’s umbrella title, Showcase.

Egmont Publishing has revealed the latest issue of its Showcase magazine is a special based on Nick Jr. show, Nella the Princess Knight.

The title will introduce readers to Nella’s kingdom through stories, snap cards, Princess-themed puzzles, colouring and other activities.

The issue – which is priced at £3.99 – is also accompanied by over 30 stickers and a free play-set featuring a figurine of Nella’s trusty unicorn sidekick, Trinket.

“We’re so excited to be partnering with Nickelodeon in bringing Nella and her friends to print and we’re sure that our readers will love learning more about their favourite Princess Knight through the magazine’s engaging activities,” said Kiran Vara, publisher at Egmont. “We think that the magazines market is ready for a girl just like Nella, who will empower our young audience to be their own hero.”

Marianne James, vp consumer products UK and Northern and Eastern Europe, added: “We’re looking forward to expanding our longstanding partnership with Egmont to introduce our favourite Princess Knight to the magazine market.

“Nella is a uniquely heroic character in the preschool space and we can’t wait for readers enjoy the engaging new content and own their very own sidekick in Trinket.”
