Activity and sticker books, pocket puzzles and an annual all due to launch for brand this summer.
Egmont UK is continuing its successful partnership with Hasbro, launching a new Power Rangers Beast Morphers series this summer.
Two activity books will publish in August – a sticker book including statistics, character profiles and scenes, and Pocket Puzzles which features brainteasers, puzzles and quizzes for budding Rangers on the go.
Following in September, the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Annual 2021 will include stories, puzzles, activities and posters.
“When Mighty Morphin Power Rangers launched back in the 90s, my friends and I were instantly hooked,” said Rebecca Oku, associate publisher at Egmont, who acquired the EMEA English language rights. “Power Rangers’ mix of everyday superheroes, over-the-top action and slapstick humour have made it an iconic global franchise.
“The latest season, Beast Morphers, is a top-rated show on both Pop and Netflix and we are delighted that Egmont will be the new home of Power Rangers publishing.”
Power Rangers Beast Morphers are the 26th and 27th seasons of the hit show. Set in the future, a secret agency combines a newly discovered substance called ‘Morph-X’ with animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers team.
