Ed Hardy brand reveals collaboration with Unknown

Iconix Europe has unveiled a new Ed Hardy collaboration with cult London-based streetwear label, Unknown.

This marks Unknown’s first collaboration with the tattoo brand, which helped to expand tattoo artistry into the world of fashion back in 2002.

At its heart, Ed Hardy is an alternative lifestyle fashion brand which celebrates the classic American tattoo as an art form, while drawing on Japanese tattoo aesthetics.

Today, Ed Hardy is a global consumer products brand sold in over 55 countries and 50 different categories following a carefully curated relaunch over recent years.

The Unknown x Ed Hardy range – which had its first drop on 12 December, selling out within two minutes of going live – includes denim, jackets, tees, sweatshirts and accessories, all featuring Ed Hardy prints and embroidery.

Unknown is best known for its rhinestone tracksuits and the capsule sees them reworked through Ed Hardy’s aesthetic.

The second drop in the collection is due to launch on 26 December.
