DRi welcomes The Happy News to portfolio

Card publisher Pigment Productions is already on board with new magazine brand.

DRi Licensing has bolstered its portfolio with the addition of magazine brand, The Happy News.

The Happy Newspaper was launched in December 2015 following a successful funding campaign and is the brain-child of art school graduate, Emily Coxhead.

The quarterly publication covers optimistic and uplifting stories from across the globe, with the aim being to celebrate all that is good in the world.

The brand combines this theme with a mix of quirky, witty illustrations and heartfelt text with an on-trend look.

Card publisher Pigment Productions is already on board and will be launching a greeting cards line in the spring, featuring over 50 designs.

Alicia Davenport, licensing director at DRi, commented: “With so much trouble in the world today, The Happy News is really heart-warming and positive and champions some of the genuine goodness in the world.

“Emily is a natural talent and we’re so pleased to be working with her on this wonderfully motivational property.”

Emily added: “The Happy Newspaper reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can go a very long way.

“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to expand the Happy News brand and hopefully make even more people smile along the way.”
