DRi readies new Miffy lines ahead of fairs

Gifts and toys launching from Rainbow Designs, Sambro, Museums & Galleries and more.

DRi Licensing is gearing up for the launch of a raft of new Miffy gifts and toys at the upcoming spring shows.

The brand will take centre stage with a number of licensees – including Rainbow Designs, Sambro, Star Editions, Museums & Galleries and Hype Associates – all launching new products.

New from long-term plush partner Rainbow Designs is the Classic Miffy Collection. The range features Miffy wearing dresses in signature Dick Bruna book colours, along with new striped and gingham styles. Sambro’s Miffy arrivals, meanwhile, include plush bags, arts and crafts kits and backpacks with fun 3D features.

Gift licensee Star Editions will relaunch its range will a full design refresh featuring three distinct looks – contemporary monochrome with a splash of yellow for the older Miffy fan, a younger animal-themed range for nursery and a sketchy look in classic Dick Bruna colours.

Museums & Galleries joins the programme with a range of art greeting cards, while Hype Associates will launch a baby card range this spring.

Alicia Davenport, licensing director at DRi, said: “Spring Fair is a second home for Miffy and we’re delighted to be bringing buyers so many quality new products for 2018 – all of which feature the contemporary design and simplicity that the Miffy brand is loved for.

“Miffy’s appeal spans generations and we’re confident that these new collections will charm buyers, gift givers and parents alike.”
